According to the analysis report prepared by Istanbul University Faculty of Aquaculture, Sürsan fish consists of Omega 3 fatty acids double the amount present in the ordinary farmed sea bass and sea bream.
The secret of the high content of Omega 3 present in Sürsan fish comes from superior quality raw materials used in Sürsan AquaMax fish feed.
The ratio of Omega 3:Omega 6 in the fish flesh is an indicator of the diet fish has been exposed to. In the wild, sea bass and sea bream eat small fish in which Omega 3:Omega 6 fatty acid ratio is high. As a result the flesh of wild caught bass and bream have a high Omega 3:Omega6 ratio.
Whereas Omega 3:Omega 6 ratio is 1:1 in ordinary farmed sea bass and sea bream, Sürsan sea bass and sea bream have an Omega 3:Omega 6 ratio of over 3:1 similar to its wild counterpart.
Therefore besides its production quality, Sürsan fresh frozen sea bass and sea bream differs from other farmed fish by its nutritional values and delicious taste.
