Description
RTM type resins are specifically designed for the automotive and construction industries.
Resins in this group provide, hard surfaces and high mechanical resistance values. Also, volumetric shrinkage is low when filled. Resins can accept up to 40% Calcite or ATH (Alumina Tri Hydroxide) with acceptable viscosity values.
Low mold costs and gelcoat enabled production methods are main advantages over the alternative BMC-SMC hot press process systems.
These resins are suitable for resin injection or cold press (closed mold) bulk productions to manufacture both side smooth products.
