Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) (Green) Marking Systems
Description
Soft and precise markings
SHG (Second Harmonic Generation) is also referred to as frequency doubling. It doubles the frequency and allows the wavelength to fall from 1064 nm to 532 nm. The new 532 nm wavelength obtained at this point is also known as the green laser because it corresponds to the green light in the electromagnetic spectrum.
This type of laser provides extremely soft, precise marking on the parts thanks to the ultra-thin laser beam produced by the 532 nm wavelength.
It performs marking applications up to a wide range of plastic to reflective metals. Green lasers are used in the processing of silicon, PCB cards, semiconductors and inorganic polymers.
